Marmalade/ Жүржийн варенье
Yesterday I went to shop and bought 3 bag full oranges. I thought I would make some juice because it has plenty of vitamin C. But when I arrived at home there were not sweet oranges. Juice was not good enough with plenty of sugar too. I had a bit of discussion with my DH and he suggested to make marmalade. I did not think that I would make but when I got up in the morning I saw a big bowl full of oranges and I did not have any other choice to make marmalade.
Өчигдөр дэлгүүр гарч 3 уут жүрж авсан юм. Уул нь ч шүүсийг нь уухаар авсан боловч арай гашуувтар жүрж таарчээ. Элсэн чихэр нэмж уугаад ч гашуун нь арилахгүй шинжтэй байхаар нь юу хийхээ бодож байтал хайрт нөхөр \ХН\ англичуудын талхан дээрээ түрхэж идэх дуртай жүржийн варенье хийгээч гэж санал тавьлаа. Би ч өөрөө идэх дургүй болохоор нэх их хийчихье гэж бодсонгүй. Гэвч өглөө босоод жүржээ харсан чинь ер ууж дуусах шинж алгаа. Ингээд варенье хийхээр шийдлээ.
Looked for recipes in my cooking books and surfed on the net and found suitable recipe the easiest recipe how to make marmalade. For 900g of oranges needed 900 g of sugar, 1 lemon and approximately 500ml of water needed.
Хэдэн ном эргүүлж, интернетээр аялсны эцэст яаж хийх хамгийн амархан аргаа оллоо. Ер нь 900 г жүржинд, 900 г элсэн чихэр, 1 ширхэг нимбэг хэрэгтэй юм байна. Барагцаалбал 500г ус ч бас хэрэг болно.
Now quarter lemon, clean pips and cut two ends and cut small pieces.
Ингээд нимбэгээ 4 хуваагаад, үрийг нь цэвэрлээд, хоёр үзүүрийг нь хаяад жижигхэн хэрчинэ.
Cut two ends of oranges and cut in small pieces.
Жүржнийхээ хоёр үзүүрийг бас хэрчиж хаяна.

Үүнээс бүр нарийнхан хэрчих хэрэгтэй юм билээ.
Put lemon and oranges in the pan and water which has to be just less than oranges.
Чанах тогоондоо нимбэгээ, жүржтэйгээ хамт хийгээд усаа нэмнэ. Ус нь жүржнээс 1 хуруу доогуур байх ёстой шүү.
Boil about 30 minutes or when orange skins are softer and put sugar and boil for another 30 to 40 minutes. It has to have some sort of jelly consistency.
Бараг 30 минут буцалгасны дараа жүржний хальс нь зөөлөн болоход элсэн чихрээ нэмээд 30-40 минут буцалгахад варенье бэлэн болно.
While marmalade is cooling, put jars in the oven to sterilise.
Варенье түр хүрч байх хооронд шилээ шарах шүүгээнд хийж халаана.
Put marmalade in jars, cover with cling film and let it cool. After label then and put in cool place away from the sun. I don't think I will eat eat marmalade and for me it seemed have marmalade flavour any way. Only DH can give me good or bad score because he knows taste of marmalade. After all of these hasle in the kitchen my oranges did not seem get less.

Silk evening bags
For a long time I had these metal frames. I gave myself time to think about what to do with them. Silk I bought in Mongolia, not just me my husband too. He bought blue silk with pattern that I can make a tie for him. I made some silk ties but what is left is mine.

Preparing for November workshops
Two new bags are coming for November workshop at Patch-mania. The bag with dotty handles (not sure about handles) but has been completed. I really liked making the bag. It is a great fun which is I made by myself.
Another one still is in processssssss. The pattern was not perfect and I have to adjust quite lot and and hopefully I will finish soon without pinning my finger any more.

Creche bag
In two weeks time I am going to visit my sister in Rome. Of course, I need some preparation for the visit, shopping - a big excuse. However, my sister asked me to make for her a year old daughter creche bag. She needed two of them and after two weeks of deciding what to make here are my results.

Embellishments
This August I had been quite busy but spent some time on the net to find some inspirations. There are plenty of people how are very talented and here are some of my work inspired by them.
Өнгөрсөн найман сард нэг их завтай байгаагүй ч гэсэн интернетээс ямар нэгэн адал явдал хайж цаг хугацааг өнгөрүүлсэн юм. Их л олон авьяаслаг хүмүүс дүүрэн байна. Тэдний зарим нэгэн санааг хэрэгжүүлсэнийг харна уу.
This collar was in demand after making something similar to my DD1. My DD2 came to me and said "Mummy, where is mine!"

To make this collar I needed to do shopping to buy some pearls. Not too bad but better than nothing. Дэлгүүр орж сувд худалдаж авсны дараа гараас гарсан бүтээгдэхүүн

This is a very special embellishment which my sister bought for my in Italy. Eigth euro T-shirt looks like almost for 80 euros :)

While in holiday in England I embellised my daughter's white dress. My tip is make sure that you mark at the begining in this way that you do not have to start again.

Oven gloves
In May when I was at the Arlanda airport in Sweden I saw a heart shaped oven gloves for sale. I did not buy it because I thought that I can make it. After almost two months I made two different colours.
On 7 July, Saturday and 12 July, Thursday I will teach these two hearts.

Vietnamese lunch
June Asian lunch went very well. Only four of us had Vietnamese Summer rolls. Chan and I went to shopping and spent about 20 euros for ingredients. Some ingredients Chan brought from home, like rice paper and sauces.
Lunch was ready to be served. Green salad, prawns, rice vermichelli, cucumber, peanuts, sauces, juices, pork and bowl of water.
Bowl of soups. Chan boiled pork, took pork out and added tom yum sauce. Before serving she put some prawns.
Before wrapping we needed to put rice paper on bowl of water for couple of seconds and wait a bit and start wrapping.
Now it is ready to eat. Delicious!
For dessert we had not very Vietnamese dessert - forest fruit crumble with cream and ice cream.
